How long do commissioned pieces take to complete?

Completion times will vary on items depending on time of year, number of live orders, and the complexity of the request. Some items can be completed and collected within 2 weeks, however on larger or more complex personalised designs we advise people to give 6 weeks notice.  During the Christmas period slot can get filled as early as September.

Yes, we have completed a number of projects with combinations of paint and pyrography together. Please ask if you have something in mind, we will be more than happy to discuss.

Do you post items out?

Yes, items can be posted or collected from our ArtyBits To Order Studio in Braehead, South Lanarkshire. We currently use Royal Mail to deliver items. Postage costs vary depending on your items starting from £5+

Do items fade?

When working with pyrography and wood there is not exact science to thus natural earth art. As such some items may fade over time. All our items are protected using varnishes to help prevent and reduce the effect of this. The best advice to help protect your items is to ensure they are stored out of direct sunlight and are topped up regularly with varnish to keep them looking best. We are more than happy to refurbish items. Please get in touch with your request.
