Chrissy

Chrissy initially qualified as an Occupational therapist and following this worked within adult/ young people substance misuse services for 10+ years, before moving into therapeutic gardening and education. Chrissy found her passion for drawing at school; developing a love for pencil and charcoal drawings.

“Exploring with Art has so much to give, socially, developmentally, and mentally. ArtyBits is about exploring, having a go, but most of all of all it about having giggles along the way!”

Sue

Sue initially qualified as a Staff nurse working on medical wards, later moving into Primary Education in England (9-13) as head of ICT department. Sue runs her own small holding and kitchen garden. Sue has a natural ability to work with a range of mediums including pyrography, acrylics, water colours, oils, and wood work. Her passion for incorporating her artwork into the grains of wood, is what makes her work stand out!

“Making items that are creative and have purpose I think is where the real fun starts. Nothing better than knowing you made it yourself from start to finish”.
