Commissions
From hand-painted portraits and custom house illistrations to beautiful pieces on wood, slate and canvas- each work is crafted with care and detail.
In addition to indidivual commissions, we also take on project- based work including larger items such as signs, display backboards and community art projects.
How do I order?
visit us at the ArtyBarn or send enquiries to artybitstoorder@gmail.com with any digital versions/ photos/ text you require. All items, quotes and deposits will be agreed upfront.
Do you combine mediums?
Yes, we have completed a number of projects mixed media including paint and pyrography, charcoal, wood, slate and canvas.
Do you post items out?
Yes, items can be posted within the uk or collected from the ArtyBarn in Braehead, South Lanarkshire.
Do you use a laser?
No, all our works are completed by hand.
How long will my commission take?
Times can vary depending on complexity, time of year and size of your piece. We will confirm the lead time on orders at point of enquiry.
How do I protect my piece?
All our items are protected using varnishes to help prevent and reduce the effect of natural fading that exists with the mediums of wood, pyrography and charcoal . To help protect your items ensure they are stored out of direct sunlight and are topped up regularly with sealant/ fixant to keep them looking best. Outdoor items will fade and will need regular resealing/Painting/ Burning.
